HOOKED RUGS- Is a style in which pieces of material are drawn through a burlap backing to create a simple rug. These are less expensive yet charming and useful.
EMBROIDERED RUGS - Creating these beautiful rugs is indeed an art! The backing is stretched within a frame and the embroidery is done by hand.
WOVEN RUGS- Made on a loom, these rugs come in a wide ranges of choices in terms of designs, colors , dimensions.
NEEDLE FELTED RUGS - A rather new technique, these rugs are made of compact fibers and are highly durable and expensive as well. These are used in high traffic areas.
TUFTED RUGS- Are easy to mass produce and make up the majority of rugs sold. The tufted material, which is usually man made such as nylon or wool blend thread, is injected into the backing material, which is then bonded to another material for added strength.
